Never become a diabetic

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), one out of three Americans are either Type II diabetic or pre-diabetic, and by 2030 one third of Americans will become Type II diabetic.

If you take anyone under the age of 30 out of the equation, these stats become even more alarming as 50% or more adult Americans will most likely have one of these conditions.

The good news is that pre-diabetes is reversible, proven by a government conducted double-blind study.

Unfortunately, our standard of care is waiting for people to become diabetic, at which point medication is offered that for most people will NOT stop the progression or complications of diabetes.

You Can Prevent Diabetes Naturally

  • Learn how to never become a diabetic (that is lifestyle induced).
  • If a diabetic, learn how to stop the progression and complications of diabetes and wean off any medication.
  • Learn how to have correct food habits to maintain weight loss over time.
  • Correct anyone of 15 health conditions that could stop you from succeeding with weight loss over time.
  • Pinpoint nutritional deficiencies that can be corrected before they become chronic and diseased
  • Pinpoint food allergies and sensitivities that can bring back lost weight in the form of water retention or create other health problems.
  • Pinpoint chronic conditions that will take more than lifestyle changes to correct.
  • Feel better than you normally feel with energy and mental alertness while having no hunger or cravings.
  • Eat normal whole foods without the need for meal replacements shakes, bars and count systems and learn how to be in control of your blood sugar.
  • Spend 30-50% less on your food costs as your body is bio-chemically set to use excess belly fat for fuel, without you feeling any hunger or feeling deprived.

Steps You Can Take Now

To ensure you DO NOT become a type II diabetic, I am offering you my WICO® Test at no cost. This is a $75 savings, and will evaluate 15 functional health conditions based on your symptoms. Must Do’s For Your Health

Did you know the reason why people…

  • do not succeed with weight loss or
  • are becoming a Type II Diabetic

has many times to do with imbalances with their functional health?

There are 15 functional health conditions that can determine a healthy functioning body and their imbalances could be a reason for unhealthy lipids, elevated blood pressure and other unhealthy bio-markers.

Functional lab testing is expensive and time consuming. We have the ability to analyze your functional health condition by having you complete an online symptoms questionnaire. By answering about 290 questions, you will not only be able to see which of 15 functional health conditions are imbalanced, but you will also be given your WICO® Wellness Score.

This score like FICO® for credit, will establish your wellness index and is a function of how many of the 15 functional health conditions being analyzed are severe, moderate and mild. We recently were certified to offer this unique assessment and would like to offer it to you at NO COST! This is a $75 saving as a thank you for your trust in our clinic. We will also provide you with a free consultation ($100 savings) on your WICO® Graph Output for a total savings of $175!

The beauty of WICO® and analyzing your functional imbalances is to not only pinpoint why you have not succeeded with your health goals in the past, but to also ensure you are addressing the root cause of your symptoms. The process can determine nutritional deficiencies, chronic conditions and the likelihood of food intolerances.

Please fill in the form at the top right of this page for your complimentary WICO® Access Code to take the online questionnaire. Your WICO® Access Code will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

I want to thank you again for your confidence in working with our practice. I look forward to keeping you well and healthy in 2015. Please have an incredible year.

By the way, if you haven’t been into our office yet, or live too far away to come in, you can still get your WICO® Wellness Score and Consultation if you are a U.S. resident. We work by phone also.

Is Diabetes An Autoimmune Disease?

Type 2 diabetes is insulin resistance, i.e. the body’s insulin receptors do not use insulin effectively so that the cells do not use up the glucose in the blood.

According to the medical community, the cause of insulin resistance is unknown.

Researchers have recently linked it to obesity and heredity. They are now saying that the immune system is causing the fat around the organs to become inflamed leading to the immune system preventing the cells from responding to insulin.

However, not all diabetics are obese. AND it is well know that type 2 diabetes can be controlled with diet and exercise. Moreover, if steps are taken before diabetes has fully developed – in the pre-diabetes stage, it can be completely reversed.

Now, if doctors start treating diabetes as an autoimmune disease, they will be using immune suppressing drugs. They will be preventing your immune system from working. Your immune system plays a major role in keeping you healthy. This is a dangerous road to go down!

How do you know if you have pre-diabetes? You may have it now and not even know it.

Take this quiz …

1. Do you eat when you’re nervous?

2. Do you have an excessive appetite?

3. Are you hungry between meals?

4. Are you irritable before meals?

5. Do you get shaky if you’re hungry?

6. When fatigued, does eating make you feel better?

7. Do you get lightheaded if meals are delayed?

8. Do you get afternoon headaches?

9. Does your heart palpitate if you miss a meal or if it’s delayed?

10. Do you get an upset feeling when you eat too many sweets?

11. Do you wake up after a few hours sleep and have a hard time getting back to sleep?

12. Do you crave coffee or candy in the afternoons?

13. Do you have periods of feeling depressed or melancholy?

14. Do you have an abnormal craving craving for sweets or snacks?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may be pre-diabetic or diabetic. Find out what you can do to protect yourself from becoming diabetic, or if you’re already diabetic, what you can do to improve your health.
